   Current climate change adaptation projects
Ongoing research on climate change adaptation
Lecturer: Mr. Colin Dale
Gist:
By using topics related to engineering in Canada as materials, the purpose is not only to learn English, but also to deepen the understanding of the actual situation of overseas engineering as a PE.It will be an online lecture by a native speaker from Canada, but the instructor is also fluent in Japanese, so please use it as an opportunity for self-improvement.

Like last time, we welcomed Professor Colin as a lecturer and held the first English seminar this year. This time, the lecture focused on climate change in Canada.Through the exercise, it is a valuable opportunity to examine raw data and experience how environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, frequency of natural fires, and precipitation in various parts of Canada will change from the past 1 years to the present to 50. I was able to accumulate a lot of experience. In addition, it was explained that due to climate change, the environmental conditions of various infrastructures have changed from when they were designed, so they are not only simply aging, but are also being progressively updated from the perspective of environmental response. In addition, I learned how much effort is being put into producing a lot of electricity from natural energy. Also, in order to respond to these environmental updates, jobs are being recruited all over Canada, and I once again felt the need for engineers in all fields to tackle climate change.I would like to take this opportunity to thank Professor Colin for providing useful information.
