Lecture title: Let's read AGILE PRACTICE GUIDE
English title: Let's study the AGILE PRACTICE GUIDE
Outline of the lecture: With the recent rapid technological innovation and increasing difficulty of technology, dealing with projects with high uncertainty has become an issue.PMBOK® Guide In the 6th, in addition to the conventional project management method, a lot of descriptions about Agile type projects, which are rapidly becoming popular in software development, were added, and the Agile Practice Guide was also published. Agile-type projects are often thought to be specific to software-related projects, but they are by no means limited to software development. In this course, we aim to understand the outline of what an Agile-type project looks like by introducing the contents of Chapters 1 to 3 of the Agile Practice Guide.

We held the 2018th Onikin CPD Seminar in 5.From Director MoriguchiPMBOK® We had a lecture on what "Agile Practice" described in the separate volume of the 6th edition was, and had a group discussion. The word agile is often talked about these days, but I started by unraveling the agile declaration (manifest), principles, and definitions.

  • "When dealing with requirements and technically uncertain themes, reduce the risk of rework by providing value little by little while agreeing with the customer."
  • "The result is a working product (software) that customers can use immediately"

Given this definition, the word agile is unfamiliar, but it turns out that it is used as a matter of course in R & D and is also applicable in manufacturing at the design stage. In group work, we also examined the challenges of introducing an agile approach to your organization. For example, in embedded systems where quality is important even in the same software development, there is a tendency to avoid change, so we realized that changing the mindset for members and customers to embrace new ways is an issue.
