PDH: Supply 1 PDH
place:Conference room MIXER
Lecturer: Yuki Ishimoto (Senior Researcher, Institute of Energy Science and Technology)

Theme: Hydrogen Society
Hydrogen Society
Summary: In Kanto, we also conducted a tour of the Urawa Hydrogen Station on Saturday, June 6, so we asked Mr. Ishimoto, an expert, to provide basic information on the feasibility and future prospects of a "hydrogen society" and discuss it with everyone. I think that I want to do it.

[Implementation report]

Participation: XNUMX people (including lecturer)
This time, Mr. Ishimoto, a senior researcher at the Institute of Energy Science and Technology, provided the following topics under the title of "Hydrogen Society" and gave a detailed explanation. After that, everyone had a discussion.
・ Problem solving with hydrogen technology
・ R & D and dissemination trends of hydrogen-related technologies in Japan and overseas
・ Future analysis results of research institutes, etc.
The hydrogen society is a technology that can respond to CO2 reduction measures and energy security, which are currently the mainstream issues of fossil fuel power generation and nuclear power generation, and has already begun to spread as ENE-FARM, fuel cell vehicles, forklifts, and backup power sources. increase.
In addition, there are still many issues to be solved, such as stable and highly efficient hydrogen gas production technology and hydrogen gas power generation technology.
This time, experts on generators, biomass, safety, etc. also participated, so specialized discussions were actively held, such as the current status of hydrogen-related technologies in each field, explanations of issues and problem definitions. It was a little over XNUMX:XNUMX.
If you have any topics that you would like us to take up at the seminar, please contact the Education Subcommittee.
In addition, the JSPE Education Subcommittee is looking for operational support members to continue the Engineers Salon, so we ask for your cooperation.
