Lecture 3 "How to promote the spread of BIM / CIM'(Member of Nakaba Suzuki)

We believe that the Japanese construction industry is world-class in terms of earthquake-resistant and seismic isolation technology cultivated as an earthquake-prone country, strong delivery dates and quality commitments, and detailed design and construction as a manifestation of the spirit of "hospitality."In order to continue to deliver the wonderful wisdom cultivated by this engineer to countries all over the world, in addition to the "construction deliverables" that remain in shape, the project and product life cycle from the planning stage to maintenance and disposal will be extended. We must maximize the value of both "digital deliverables," including the generation, transmission, change response, and archiving of digital information, and compete with the competition.
In this lecture, after touching on the national policy regarding BIM / CIM and the current situation in Japan and the world, we will take measures to promote the spread of these based on the business format of the Japanese construction industry and the contents of interviews with people at each level. I will propose.It would be an unexpected joy if all the listeners could get a chance to think about "the future of the Japanese construction industry".

Lecture 4 "Industrial IoT and International Standardization"(Member of Takenori Baba)

Since Germany jointly proposed Industrie 2011 in 4.0, the use of IoT at production sites has attracted widespread attention.Along with that, there are major movements in the world of international standardization.I would like to outline from the experience I have been involved in these international standardizations.
In particular, the "use case" is what is the difference between the data conversion and visualization of factories that Japan, which is often confused, and the industrial IoT that the world is now aiming for. I would like to clarify based on the keyword "interface" and consider what competences are required of engineers in the future.
