John Paul Baracas 회원을 강사로 맞이해 Introduction to Thermal Cracking of Concrete라는 연제로 발표해 주셨습니다.콘크리트에 온도 균열이 발생하는 메카니즘이나 유한 요소법으로 균열 폭을 예측하는 수법, 균열의 발생을 억제하는 방법 등에 대해서, 주로 영어로, 어딘가 일본어도 혼합하면서 설명해 주셔, 논의했습니다.
최근 JSPE에는 일본인 이외의 회원도 늘어나고 있으므로, 영어로의 세미나는 조만간 다시 실시하고 싶습니다.
