Abstract: Daniel Yergin, the Pulitzer Prize winner for the publication of 1992's Century of Oil, has announced a new author for 2020.In the previous work, almost everything that happened in the 20th century could be explained by the race for oil. With the end of the Cold War in 1990, oil prices had fallen below $20 a barrel.In the 21st century, global warming countermeasures were about to become a global concern, but when I see the recent rise in energy prices caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, I can't help but wonder, "Is the 21st century also the century of oil?" .
This is a large volume of more than 500 pages, and explains each strategy from the five perspectives of the United States, Russia, China, the Middle East, and global environmental measures.This time, we are planning to provide topics mainly from the perspective of "Russia" from among these.
