[Implementation Report] 333rd Technical CPD Seminar / 333rd CDP Seminar

[Implementation report]

43 participants (37 PE members, 2 PEN members, 3 FE members, 1 non-member, including lecturer, web distribution only)

Dr. Masao Ishihama, a PE member of the Association, a visiting researcher at the Institute for Automated Driving, Meiji University, a member of the Central Environment Council, and a visiting professor at Kanagawa University, served as a lecturer. He gave a lecture on the theme of "Focus on Regulation and Technology Development". We often hear news about the development and release of EV cars, and we tend to be interested in the magnitude of the environmental load due to the difference in power, but when focusing on the resistance during running, the rolling resistance of the tire is dominant, and I think many of you may have learned for the first time that tires are also greatly involved in the noise of automobiles. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Ishihama for giving us a very easy-to-understand explanation.

Lecturer: Masao Ishihama PE member (Meiji University Automatic Driving Research Institute, Visiting Researcher, Central Environment Council, Automotive Noise Specialist, Kanagawa University Engineering Research Institute, Visiting Professor)

Abstract: We will talk about technical issues related to roadside environment (radiant noise) of automobile tires, CO2 generation suppression (rolling resistance), accident prevention (grip on wet road surface), and prospects for future tires.

Participation fee: JSPE member free, non-member 2,000 yen

CPD: 1.5 hours

Format: Web delivery only
