　Naoshi Tomari, Associate Professor of Tohoku Institute of Technology, gave a lecture on the process of planning highly public facilities such as highways and airports.Especially when the scale of the facility is large, it is possible that the number of citizens affected by the plan will increase, but instead of fixing the plan first, what kind of interest each citizen has Q. I learned that responding to those interests is important for the successful development of public facilities.Even on expressways constructed in the same area in the same prefecture, the number of assessment preparations and city plans in legal procedures is 2 minutes compared to the sections where public involvement was implemented at the initial stage. I was surprised to hear that the number of cases was less than 1 (!), And as a result, the discussion was not complicated.This time we talked about the construction field, but in terms of stakeholder management, I think that there was a part that would be helpful for engineers in other fields as well.
