[Implementation report]

Participation: <Tokyo> 18 people (PE13 people, PEN2 people, FE1 people, non-members 2 people, including lecturers) <Kobe> 5 people (PE4 people, AF1 people, including assistant lecturers)

The second Onikin CPD seminar in 10 was held on Saturday, October 5th.Director Inaba gave a lecture on risk management in the project. The lecturer learned about environmental risks when he was a university student, quoted Junko Nakanishi's book, cited dioxin and BSE as examples, and confirmed the definition and significance of "risk".As a special note

(XNUMX) Rather than making noise by saying risk, we should make rational and quantitative judgments and deal with them.
(3) There are three types of risk.
・ The magnitude of the risk obtained by scientifically packing
・ The magnitude of risk used in social decision-making
・ The magnitude of the risk of anxiety held by a considerable number of people
How should you handle risk as a professional?
(XNUMX) Although the occurrence of risk is uncertain, it is possible to make judgments and decisions based on expected values based on the probability of occurrence and the degree of impact.

In group discussions, two options with the same expected value but different contents (impact: large x probability of occurrence: small or impact: small x probability of occurrence: large) were discussed, and individuals with the same expected value were asked to discuss. I had them understand that the judgment is different. In addition, the lecturer discussed how to deal with risks in plant / construction-related cases. In the questionnaire, we received a comment that "the discussion time was short", and the audience actively participated.

Thank you to all the participants for their cooperation.
