[Implementation report]

On September 9th, we held a workshop, JSPE Day, which was integrated as JSPE by connecting the Tokyo venue, Kobe venue and Web distribution at the same time. This time, which is the sixth year since the project started, there was one keynote speech on the theme of "climate change" and four all-day seminars by member lecturers.

37 participants (including 4 lecturers and 5 secretariats) in the NATULUCK Iidabashi conference room at the Tokyo venue, and 7 participants (including 1 lecturer and 2 secretariats) at the Motomachi / Hyogo Prefectural Civic Center at the Kobe venue. People gathered. In addition, this year we resumed web distribution, and 4 people attended, making a total of 48 participants the biggest event after the general meeting.

At the beginning of the morning, we passed PE, read aloud the registrants, and received a voice of joy from the target people at the venue. I think it was a good stimulus for members who are preparing for PE registration.

Continuing from last year, Director Nishikubo of the Kobe venue gave the first morning lecture at the NSPE General Assembly (PECON7) held in Kansas City, Missouri on July 17-21 under the theme of "Report on Participation in the NSPE Kansas City General Assembly." He introduced the situation and the situation regarding the annual membership fee reduction plan for overseas resident members that JSPE is inquiring about, and explained the outline of the report of each member who participated in PECON19. JSPE, which has a partnership agreement with NSPE, will continue to work closely with NSPE.

In the second lecture in the morning, Director Inaba of the Tokyo venue gave a lecture on the theme of "Efforts as a heavy industry manufacturer for global warming (decarbonized society)".I explained the product development cases (methanation, energy management system, ammonia as an energy carrier) at IHI where the instructor works, and introduced the efforts as a heavy industry manufacturer like the theme.

Tokyo Venue-Lecture by Director Inaba

In the afternoon, Mr. Nojiri, a professor at Hirosaki University, gave a keynote speech on "Climate Change-What is the Truth That Is Really Inconvenient?" From the Tokyo venue and introduced the issue of climate change (global warming). He introduced the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report and the grounds for the currently set upper limit of temperature, and introduced that storage batteries are important as a countermeasure. Also, as the title of the lecture says, I had the opportunity to learn "what is really inconvenient truth".Mr. Nojiri introduced this content in a university lecture, and this time he introduced it by narrowing down the main points in a short time of 5 minutes.

Tokyo Venue-Lecture by Professor Nojiri

The second lecture in the afternoon was given by Auditor Tsuchiya on the theme of "Proposal of an implementation solution to reduce global warming to 2070 ° C or less in 2". CCS will become important after being introduced to global warming (greenhouse gas) based on the Sky Scenario published by Shell. Also, Shell, an oil and gas company, will look at deoiled gas in the future. I was surprised at what I was doing.

Tokyo Venue-Lecture by Auditor Tsuchiya

The third lecture in the afternoon was given by Mr. Takemasa from the Tokyo venue under the theme of "Responding to global warming and product safety. He introduced that HFC, which is mainly used as a refrigerant for household refrigerators and freezers, has a reduction target due to its large global warming potential, and that HFO (hydrofluoroolefin) is mentioned as an alternative. He also explained the instructor's recommendation that HFOs are flammable and that the risks of flammability should be understood by consumers.

We are very grateful to all the instructors for their cooperation in this event, even though we have no time. JSPE Day is also in its sixth year this year.As the planning and execution department, we will consider themes that will make you happy to participate next year, so if you have any opinions or wishes, please contact JSPE.
