On Saturday, February 2th, we held the 9th (final in 2018) Onikin CPD seminar in 6.Mr. Nishikubo gave a lecture on "Importance of software specification definition and project management" and had a group discussion.

After organizing the definition and overall structure of the project (Temporary and Unique efforts to generate Deliverable through Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring & Control, Closing), we discussed a case study of inspection technology for hard disks. ..The software operates according to the code written, so it cannot be unwritten or undefined. Therefore, I learned that it is important to divide the hardware and software specifications from the product functions, as to what kind of operation is required as the product specifications.Furthermore, this learning was applied to the projects that the participants themselves experienced, and the success factors and failure factors were identified and the experience knowledge was shared.

Project deliverables are also defined in intercompany contracts, as in PMBOK.On the other hand, in the case of in-house projects, the required specifications may change due to changes in the power balance between departments and the market environment. As a result, I learned that it is important to organize the needs and circumstances of stakeholders, as relationships with stakeholders may change apart from the progress of the project.

Absences due to poor physical condition were conspicuous, including the participants and the management side, but I was able to complete it safely.Thank you everyone for your cooperation.
