JSPE holds a seminar on project management (Onikin Seminar) as a registered education provider of the American Project Management Institute.

In this seminar (PMBOK® Guide) 5th Edition, Project Management Institute, Inc., 2013. as a textbook, 6 seminars x 3h = 18h are planned.
Seminar participants will be issued a continuous study time (PDH) required for Professional Engineers (PEs) and a continuous study time (PDU) required for Project Management Professional (PMP) ®.

Lecture Summary: There are risks associated with projects.Being aware of risks and preparing countermeasures is one of the keys to successful projects.In this course, I would like to learn risk management methodologies based on PMBOK® Guide 5th Edition and deepen my knowledge through the experience of instructors and exercises using virtual projects.This will be the final Onikin Seminar this year, so we look forward to the participation of many members and non-members.

On Saturday, February 2th, we held the 10rd lecture of "Project Cases practiced by Professional Engineers and PMBOK® Guide-4", the final seminar of this year.Ryo Moriyama, a director of JSPE, served as a lecturer at the Tokyo venue, and the lecture was held in collaboration with the satellite Kobe venue (deputy lecturer: Toko Nishikubo).
At the seminar, we learned about risk identification and risk qualitative analysis with exercises, focusing on project risk management in Chapter 11 of the PMBOK® Guide. In the explanation of the contents of the PMBOK® Guide, the differences from the 5th edition are explained based on the 6th edition, and in the group discussion, the risks assumed in the project, their impacts, and countermeasures are actively discussed using the JCM project as an example.
