It was a busy time one week before the annual meeting, but 1 people (9 from Tokyo) participated and the Umeda Campus of Osaka Institute of Technology opened in April this year (1 m above ground, 4 floors above ground / 125 floors below ground, We visited a total floor area of ​​21m2).The location will be the building next to the Yanmar headquarters building, right after getting off Hankyu Umeda station in Osaka.This Umeda campus contains three departments (Robot Engineering, System Design Engineering, and Space Design) of the Faculty of Robotics and Design Engineering.
In the first half, Professor Yukimasa Miyagishi (Department of Spatial Design), Vice President, gave an overview of the Umeda Campus and the Faculty of Robotics and Design Engineering, and in the second half, we visited the following facilities in order.
3rd floor: Josho Hall (multipurpose hall)
21st floor: Campus restaurant "Ristorante Sho 21" (Nanohana Shokudo)
17th floor: Design studio
16th floor: Student laboratory
8th floor: Robotics & Design Center (RDC)
6th floor: Learning Commons

(1) 3rd floor: Josho Hall
It is a multi-purpose hall with a capacity of 576 seats, and it was a sound facility that was particular about holding lectures, academic conferences, and music events.In addition, there are two conference rooms available for general use on the 3rd floor, and this tour was also held by renting one of them.

(2) 21st floor: Campus restaurant
The "Nanohana Restaurant" in the student cafeteria is open from 8:00 to 10:00 in the morning and from 10:45 to 14:00 in the afternoon, and is open to students, staff, and the general public. ..Breakfast is a set meal of 300 yen including tax, and 600 yen for lunch, and it is a system that can be served freely only once on one plate.This lunch is also introduced as a hidden restaurant in the Kansai morning information program "Sumatan" (Nippon Television Network System).At night, you can change into the Italian restaurant "Ristorante Sho1", and the course meal starts at 21 yen, making it a high-class restaurant.The tour was in the middle of changing clothes, and we also visited the outdoor terrace seats.

(3) 17th floor: Design studio, 16th floor: Student laboratory
The design studio was a floor where students from the 1st to 4th grades of the Department of Spatial Design gathered together.It was said that the seats were unreserved and slightly less than the number of students.The 16th floor, which was down the internal stairs, was the student base for the Department of System Design Engineering, and the 15th floor was the student base for the Department of Robot Engineering.

(4) 8th floor: Robotics & Design Center (RDC)
The floor functions as a platform for collaboration between industry, government, and academia that not only students but also working people can participate in, and state-of-the-art machine tools and 3D printers were prepared.

(5) 6th floor: Learning Commons
As a lively space of knowledge, a huge 6-inch screen was prepared on the 7th and 380th floors of the atrium, and it was a space that could also be used as a place for presentations. Up to the 5th floor is a low-floor space, and the campus forest with more than 100 kinds of trees on the roof is also an approach from this 6th floor.

見学会終了後は有志5人で、阪急かっぱ横丁の居酒屋に繰り出し、午後4:30~6:00までメガハイボールや焼酎などを堪能しました。21階の「リストランテ翔21」は、5:30より営業だったのと、ワインを注文すると一人10000円はかかりそうだったので、別の機会に利用することにしました。
