Lecture summary:
Global warming is the biggest challenge in the 21st century, and a significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions is an obligation imposed on industrialized countries. In addition, among the natural resources that can be mined in the crust, human beings have already mined more than half of some elements since history, and the recycling of resources is an indispensable technology for maintaining a sustainable society. be.In this lecture, we will explain the current status and issues of recycling metals and plastics, as well as the required engineering technology.

As the first Kanto Technology CPD Seminar this year, Mr. Kamo of AIST gave a lecture focusing on recycling technology. He explained the background of trends related to resource recycling, and also introduced the recently talked about Circular Economy.Regarding recycling, plastics, electronic devices, and carbon fiber reinforced plastics were also mentioned, and in the recycling of electronic devices, he also introduced "Making from urban mines! Everyone's medal project".It was a very interesting content, and I didn't have enough time, so I rushed in the second half, but there were many opinions that I wanted to hear more, so I thought that it was a theme I would like to ask again if there is an opportunity.
