[Implementation report]

Participation: 10 people (7 PE, 2 PEN, 1 other)

Although it became independent in the Kansai area, Kenji Tabata held a technical seminar on "catalysts".At first, he explained the concept of "catalyst", and then looked back on the catalyst development at the home appliance company to which Kenji Tabata belonged, the national research institute, and Miyazaki University, and introduced some examples. In the second half, although the difficulty level increased, he explained the expression of catalytic function by computational science. Although it was a seminar related to "chemistry", which is rare for JSPE members, I was able to meet two people for the first time.

After the seminar, as usual, a one-coin social gathering was held at the seminar venue with eight people, including Mr. Kenji Tabata, who was a lecturer, and we deepened our friendship with each other for a little over an hour.
